Every charter we run is private. You book the entire boat and crew — no shared trips, no strangers onboard. It is the only way we operate.
Yes. We carry child-sized life jackets on our boats, and our crews have extensive experience with families. Whale watching and inshore fishing are especially kid-friendly; for offshore trips, we recommend ages 10 and up.
Not at all. Our captains and mates work with anglers of every level, from first-timers to seasoned tournament fishermen. We will walk you through every technique and handle the heavy lifting so you can focus on the fight

All our fishing charters depart at 7:30 a.m and come back at 3:30 p.m on a full day. However, you can change the departure time according to your preference and our availability.
You already paid for the trip, but you should make sure you have some cash in your pocket so you can tip the mate and the captain. It is hard work; it is not easy, and these guys deserve every dime they get. A tip between 10% and 20% of the trip cost, for all of them, will be fine.
Our charters include tackle, bait, gear, food, and drinks. However, you should bring Reef-safe sunscreen, a hat, polarized sunglasses, a camera, shoes or sandals, and towels.
All prices listed are for the whole boat, not per person. Each boat has a fixed price according to its capacity. Some boats can take more people for an extra fee.
All listed rates are in cash. If you desire to use a credit card to pay the total amount, then 13% taxes + 8% (bank commission) will be added to the total amount. We recommend you bring cash to pay the pending balance.
To guarantee your fishing trip, we require a deposit for each fishing trip. The deposit is collected through our online booking system on our website.
Each boat is provided by experience local crew. However, they have intermediate knowledge of technical English to communicate with you in regard to fishing.
If the fishing day is canceled due to extreme weather conditions, the fishing day will be rescheduled according to your availability; otherwise, the deposit will be refunded. Check the current papagayo weather forecast.
All charters include professional fishing equipment (Penn & Shimano rods and reels), live (when possible) and ballyhoo bait, ice, bottled water, local beers, sodas, fresh seasonal fruit, lunch (on a full day), and snacks. Full-day charters also include a hot lunch prepared onboard.
