Westin Conchal Guanacaste
Westin Conchal is just a 2 hours drive from the Guanacaste International Airport. In front of this resort is Playa Conchal, Conchal means shell in English, so you may also hear Playa Conchal called Shell Beach or simply Conchal Beach. The name comes from the white shells that can often be found along the coastline depending on the time of year. In fact, there’s a rocky headland called Punta Conchal that separates it from Playa Brasilito. The sand is made of millions of crushed shells that have been worn down over time.

Westin Playa Conchal Fishing
If you are looking for some adventure in the sea from Westin Conchal, a fishing charter is a nice option.

If you are looking for big game fishing, we recommend booking a full day (8hrs) fishing trip or at least 6 hours to fish for blue marlin, pacific sailfish, bull Mahi Mahi, and yellowfin tuna. Offshore fishing duration: 8 hours from 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)
If you just want to do some inshore fishing, we recommend booking a half-fishing trip looking for red snapper, amberjack, grouper, dorado, mackerel, and the most appreciate roosterfish. Inshore fishing duration: 4 hours from 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.)

All fishing charter departs at 7:30 AM, but we can do it earlier under the client’s request!
What do our Charters include? We provide ballyhoo or live bait when possible, fishing equipment, snacks, bottled water, ice bags, fresh fruits, soft drinks, local beer, juice, Catch cleaning & filleting, and lunch on full-day charters.
